Eligibility

Eligibility criteria for Assistant Commandant Examination are as under:

• Nationality: a person who is not a citizen of India is not entitled for this recruitment.
• Sex: Male and Female both are eligible for the post of Assistant Commandants in CRPF, CISF and SSB. Only in BSF and ITBP Male candidates are required.
• Age Limit: Aspirant's age must be between 20 years to 25 years

• Educational Qualification: Candidate must have a Bachelor Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
• Candidates having professional and technical qualifications recognized by the government are also eligible for the examination.
• Candidates who qualified the final round of Assistant Commandant earlier and finally got selected are not eligible for the examination.
