Special meeting of CBT be convened immediately to approve the demands of EPS 95 pensioners. Gazette notifications may kindly be issued by the labour ministry to that effect .
News in Detail: - Dtd.30.9.2020, The NAC Chief Commander Ashok Raut had a telephonic conversation with Hon.Santosh Kumar Gangwar Ji, the Labour Minister regarding urgent demands of EPS 95 pensioners and requested the Hon Minister to grant the pension holders' demands without any further delay.
After the conversation, the NAC Chief in the same context has written a Letter to the Hon.Labour Minister with a copy to the Hon. Prime Minister, Hon.Finance Minister, Hon.Minister of State, Prime Minister's Office, Hon.Smt. Hema Malini ji, Member of Parliament, Mathura and all Honorable CBT Members and Hon. CPFC.
In this letter, the references of Meeting with the Hon.Prime Minister, two letters written by Hon.Smt. Hema Malini ji and the NAC's letter dated 13.5.2020 are specifically mentioned in the reference.
In the letter, while depicting the situation of EPS 95 pension holders, it has been written that .....
"Due to an old age, meagre pension and nonavailability of any kind of medical facility, the pensioners are leaving the world everyday in large numbers.
In view of the pathetic economic condition of pensioners,, increase in the prevailing death rate of EPS 95 Pensioners and availability of the generous pension fund ie at about Rs.5 lakh crore, the special CBT meeting for resolving EPS 95 Pensioners demands shall be called urgently and a Gazette notification for fulfilling the NAC demands be issued immediately.
