Haryana Post Office Recruitment 2020 for 10th passed Indian Citizens apply online for Haryana Post Office GDS Vacancy 2020 on or before 12th August 2020. The Haryana Circle invites online applications for selection of Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) for fill up 608 vacant posts under Haryana State Post Office Circle. The Haryana Postal Circle GDS 2020 Apply Online @ www.appost.in from 8th June 2020 to 7th July 2020. Again, The Haryana circle submission of online application is extended from 6th August 2020 to 12th August 2020 for those candidates who have already registered and not submitted final application.

Haryana GDS Jobs:

Branch Postmaster (BPM) - The Job Profile of Branch Post Master will include managing affairs of Branch Post Office, India Posts Payments Bank ( IPPB) and ensuring uninterrupted counter operation during the prescribed working hours using the handheld device/Smartphone/laptop supplied by the Department.

Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) - The Job Profile of Assistant Branch Post Master will include all functions of sale of stamps/stationery, conveyance and Delivery of mail at doorstep deposits/payments/other transactions under IPPB, assisting Branch Postmasters in counter duties using the handheld device/Smart phone supplied by the Department.

Dak Sevak - The Job Profile of Dak Sevaks will include all functions of viz sale of stamps and stationery, conveyance and delivery of mail and any other duties assigned by Postmaster/Sub Postmaster including IPPB work in the Departmental Post Offices/RMS.

Age Limit:

Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on 8th June 2020

The Upper age limit relaxation: 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC, No relaxation for EWS and Extra 10 years for Persons with Disabilities (PwD)

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification: The candidate should pass minimum 10th standard / Matric / Secondary School examination with passing marks in Mathematics. The exam conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks.

The Candidate passed Xth class examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed compartmentally.

Local Language (Hindi) and English having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects.

Computer Knowledge: The candidate should have computer knowledge and will be required to furnish basic computer training certificate for at least 60 days from a recognized Computer Training Institute. Certificates from Central Government/ State Government/ University/ Boards etc., will also be acceptable for this purpose.

Knowledge of Cycling is a pre-requisite condition for all GDS posts.

Residence:

The candidate selected for the engagement of BPM shall have to provide centrally located accommodation in the Branch Post Office village within 30 days for use as Post Office premises and the expenditure of the hiring if any needs to be borne by the candidates. The selected applicants must mandatorily take up his/her residence in the Branch Post Office village within one month after selection but before engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster. The candidate shall submit a declaration to this effect in the application. The candidate selected for the post of other than GDS BPM should reside in post village/delivery jurisdiction.

Selection Criteria:

The Selection will be made as per the automatic generated merit list as per the rules based on the candidates online submitted applications.

No weightage will be given for higher educational qualification.

Only marks obtained in 10th standard of approved Boards aggregated to percentage to the accuracy of 4 decimals will be the criteria for finalizing the selection. Passing of all the subjects as per the respective approved board norms is mandatory for taking candidate into account for calculating the merit.

In case candidates get the same marks, the merit order would be taken as DOB (higher age as merit), ST trans-woman, ST female, SC trans-woman, SC female, OBC trans-woman, OBC female, EWS trans-woman, EWS female, UR trans-woman, UR female, ST trans-male, ST Male, SC transmale, SC Male, OBC trans-male, OBC male, EWS trans-male, EWS male, UR trans-male, UR male. Application Fee:

Candidates belonging to General / OBC Male candidates should pay ₹ 100/- for each set of five options.

The fee payment can be made at any Head Post Office or other identified post offices in India.

The application fee can also pay through online mode of payment using Credit Card / Debit Cards / Net Banking facility.

The fee payment is exempted for all Female and SC/ST candidates.

How to Apply:

Eligible candidates should Apply Online only for Haryana Post Office GDS 2020. The online registration will be made through AP Post GDS Online link from 8th June 2020. The candidates required to fill basic details to obtain the Registration Number. The last date for registration of online applications is 07/07/2020. The last date for registration of online application is extended up to 12/08/2020.
